See Tickets Welcomes 100 Independent Venues & Promoters to its Roster of Clients
Los Angeles, CA - With a wave of 100 new and notable signings, See Tickets is positioned to be a leader in ticketing for the independent venue & promoter community in the US. In the last twelve months, the company has doubled its roster of venue clients with additions including the iconic The Troubadour in West Hollywood, Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn, and World Cafe Live in Philadelphia.
“See Tickets has proven that they not only care about the independent venues but that they are forward thinking. When we are able to welcome people back into the Troubadour, the integrations, support, and marketing tools See Tickets provides will be invaluable. I want to work with people who understand The Troubadour's business and customers' needs. And by partnering with See Tickets, we are in a better position to navigate the future, no matter what that might look like,” says Christine Karayan, owner of The Troubadour in Los Angeles.
See Tickets’ commitment to the independent live music community has no better example than its early financial support that helped launch the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) and the subsequent effort to #SaveOurStages.
“2020 was a difficult year for all. We’re very happy that we were able to provide the right support to our clients and the greater community in ways others could not. Supporting our clients through a sponsorship of NIVA was a no-brainer.” says Boris Patronoff, CEO of See Tickets North America. Despite the recent setback with the SBA’s Shuttered Venue Operators Grant application portal, Boris, who serves as Chair of the NIVA Advisory Board, is a big believer in the US market. "Venue owners continue to struggle as they await the SBA's Shuttered Venue Operators Grant program to accept applications. It’s important to us that independent venues have the support they need to face the future with more certainty."
During the last twelve months See Tickets also made significant investments in new features specifically designed for the independent community. These include:
- Event Creation for Venues designed to allow venues set up new shows in as little as 90 seconds,
- Email Marketing and CRM designed for low friction email marketing, and
- New partnerships allowing Contactless Ticket Scanning with NFC (near-field communication) technology, Fan-to-Fan ticket exchange, and enhanced Fraud Prevention.
The most important reason why the indies are choosing See Tickets may be stability. Vivendi’s group of businesses have been resilient and posted strong performances during the pandemic. Universal Music Group and others have seen a big boost in revenue due to streaming entertainment. As a result, See Tickets has had the strength to support clients as they weather the storm through postponements, cancellations, and refunds while treating customers fairly and transparently.
Hal Real of World Cafe Live says, “See Tickets' stability and ongoing commitment to help independent venues like World Cafe Live made a significant impression while determining our new ticketing partner. It feels like a natural fit and puts World Cafe Live in a stronger position to continue serving our guests and community.”
