OVG and Live Nation Partner on Lagos Arena

OVG and Live Nation are partnering with the Persianas Group and the Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA) to develop a new 12,000-capacity arena in Lagos, Nigeria. A ground-breaking ceremony was held Feb. 24. Despite its vibrant and popular music scene, Nigeria has lacked a dedicated arena until now. The proposed $100 million Lagos arena will be "the first of its kind and will serve as a home for major entertainment and sporting events in the city," an official media release noted. Aside from live concerts, the arena will be able to host family entertainment, basketball games, UFC, boxing, WWE, and more. More than 200 events a year will be the goal.
