In a dialogue with Crypto on the Street Roundtable anchor Rob Nelson, Carbon.Credit founder Chris Mack broke down non-fungible tokens' (NFTs) relevance to digital ticketing and ownership, noting that NFTs are distinctive for their longevity. NFTs represent an ongoing relationship, with NFT tickets from a past concert possibly earning holders exclusive offers for the performer's next show, for example. "One key difference is the identification is really tied to the owner of that asset or that ticket," Mack added, suggesting that NFTs can be traded, resold and even altered according to user preferences. Nelson presented a vision of NFTs as assets that can appreciate over time, while Mack cited the control and monetization of personal data as an additional benefit.
