San Jose, CA – January 26, 2022 – VBO Tickets, a leading white label ticketing software and engagement platform, announced today its platform now meets Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) based on VPAT version 2.4.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, or WCAG, is considered to be the benchmark for website accessibility. The evaluation was conducted by an external consultant of Pure Accessibility LLC, Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) by the International Association of Accessibility Professionals.
Many VBO Tickets customers are government agencies or colleges and universities which have to be in line with these standards by law. Following this standard allows VBO Tickets white label online ticketing software to be more accessible to the widest possible audience.
“It makes me proud that I could help lead the VBO Tickets WCAG compliance team and achieve our goal to implement these improvements in VBO Tickets software, making it more accessible. At VBO Tickets, we try hard to be at the forefront of innovation and we want to be helpful and inclusive. Becoming WCAG compliant is just another way we’re trying to reinforce our company values.” – Mike MacPherson, Director of Sales and Marketing.
