The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced mandatory vaccinations against COVID-19 for people attending all "live events" from June 6, as the nation promotes one of the fastest vaccination agendas in the world. A spokeswoman for the UAE ministry of health said all sports, cultural, social, arts exhibition, activities and events must follow this mandate, and attendees must also present a negative COVID-19 polymerase chain reaction test administered at least 48 hours before the event.
