Tixly, a leader in event ticketing software solutions for culture and the performing arts, is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Arrow Street Arts (ASA), a new nonprofit multi-space performance center in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Arrow Street Arts is a new non-profit organization based in Cambridge that recently re-opened, having been closed since March of 2020. The multi-use arts space has been extensively renovated and expanded to fully accommodate creatives in the area. ASA will offer two spaces in Harvard Square, a black box theater and street-front studio on Arrow Street in Cambridge. Founded by David Altshuler, a long-time Cambridge resident and arts advocate, Arrow Street Arts reflects the vision that “Art Creates Community and Community Creates Belonging,” and the organization and its venues are being designed to offer local performers and arts organizations creative spaces to connect with their communities.
The facility will open its doors to the public on October 13, 2023, for a soft opening ahead of a full launch in spring 2024. The opening of such a space is welcome news to both the public and artists in the community, given the demand for creative space in Greater Boston. ASA has engaged with over 100 local artists and producers to explore ways to utilize the new performance spaces, which will be fully equipped with lighting, sound and many other theatrical equipment and systems. The first production to be staged, the Tony-Award-winning musical Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, will be the initial collaboration through ASA’s partnership with resident company Moonbox Productions using Tixly’s state of the art ticketing & CRM platform.
“With ASA’s focus on collaborating with performers and producers to build community, we found in Tixly a robust ticketing solution that allows us to keep costs low for local arts groups,” said David Altshuler, Arrow Street Arts founder. “Tixly’s streamlined ticket-buying experience makes it easy for audiences to find and purchase seats for shows at our venue, while Tixly’s promoter tools allow artists and arts presenters to monitor their ticket sales directly in real time.”
“We are elated to witness the new opportunities for performances and events that Arrow Street Arts brings to Cambridge. In this partnership, Tixly is proud to be supporting the arts that we have dedicated our user-friendly ticketing platform to serving. We have been impressed with the industry knowledge and commitment shown by ASA and Bart Reidy as they envision the future of theater arts.” says Aren Murray, Tixly’s US Operations Manager.
“We’re thrilled about the partnership with Arrow Street Arts and the preparation for the go-live has been characterized by much excitement and joy on both sides. We are excited to bring Tixly’s robust and user-friendly ticketing software to the vibrant community of Arrow Street Arts. Working together has been a pleasure, highlighting the synergy between our innovative solution and their creative vision. As we gear up to go live, we can’t wait to redefine the ticketing experience for audiences in Cambridge, as well as continue our expansion in North America.” says Hrefna Sif Jónsdóttir, Managing Director of Tixly.
Tixly’s standard implementation will be executed with a focus on a smooth set up and launch for ASA. At Tixly, we understand that simplicity and efficiency are the cornerstones of customer satisfaction. Hence, we ensure a seamless integration of our event ticketing software, accompanied by step-by-step guidance and continuous support from our dedicated team. This ensures that our clients are up and running swiftly, and their patrons can enjoy an effortless ticketing experience right from the get-go. Our aim is to take the complexity out of ticketing, leaving our clients more time to focus on creating unforgettable experiences for their audiences.
