TikTok and Ticketmaster have agreed to expand their partnership to 20 more countries, enabling artists to sell tickets to their fans via the popular social media platform. The partnership started as a beta test in the United States last year. It will now be available in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, Germany, France, Canada, Mexico, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Switzerland, Spain and Sweden. TikTok Certified Artists in those participating countries can utilize the Ticketmaster ticketing feature to promote live dates. Fans, meanwhile, will be able to purchase tickets through Ticketmaster via the TikTok platform with an in-app feature. Artists can also add Ticketmaster event links to their videos. Since last year's beta launch, TikTok calculates there have been over 2.5 billion views of videos by artists, sports teams and event organizers using the in-app feature.
