So-called "ticket touts" have been employing teams of workers to bulk-purchase tickets for the United Kingdom's biggest concerts like Taylor Swift and Oasis so they can be resold for profit, a BBC investigation has uncovered. The probe uncovered several touts that have been making "millions" hiring people overseas, known as "ticket pullers," with one team having bought hundreds of tickets for Swift's Eras tour alone last year. A BBC journalist was able to secretly record the head of a ticket-pulling company in Pakistan, who said they could set up a team on the reporter's behalf and potentially purchase hundreds of tickets. The U.K. government has been planning new legislation to crack down on touts, but critics contend it doesn't go nearly far enough.
