Prices for Super Bowl LV tickets are skyrocketing, with TicketIQ reporting costs ranging from $11,173 to $75,460 as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the National Football Conference championship. The cost for admission so far is the priciest since TicketIQ began tracking data in 2010, while fewer than 400 tickets were available on the secondary market as of Jan. 24. Approximately 22,000 fans in total will be allowed to attend the Super Bowl game at the Buccaneers' home arena of Raymond James Stadium, including 7,500 vaccinated healthcare workers. The National Football League said safety measures for fans attending the game outdoors include mandatory mask-wearing, social-distancing, podded seating, and touchless concession stands. "On behalf of Floridians and football fans across the nation, I'd like to thank the many men and women who worked hard to make this game a reality, especially our frontline healthcare workers who have worked tirelessly over the past year to keep people safe," declared Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. Tickets will likely get more expensive as the Feb. 7 game day approaches.
