The Kollectiff agency announced a carbon-negative partnership with U.K. independent music icons The Wombats, who will hold a metaverse experience featuring an avatar, a concert, fan meets, live acoustic performances, rare memorabilia, VIP tickets, and more. The Wombats will be releasing 3,000 unique metaverse-ready nonfungible tokens (NFTs), with all carbon emissions from the mint to be offset 20 times. Fans and holders will have access to a Rubik's Cube blockchain game that will offer a wealth of exclusive content. The NFTs will serve as an avatar that can be used in The Sandbox decentralized gaming virtual world, while all purchasers will also receive unique blockchain carbon credits from top environmental platform Moss. The Wombats will also hold a concert in the metaverse at Kollectiff's meta-stadium. "The Kollectiff's team has brought this possibility to life for both fans and newcomers seeking to enjoy an immersive band experience at an iconic location, all while being closer to artists across the globe through The Sandbox virtual gaming world," said The Sandbox co-founder Sebastien Borget.
