The Philadelphia Eagles won their second Super Bowl on Sunday, soundly defeating the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 and putting an end to the Chiefs' dream of being the first team in NFL history to "three-peat." The Eagles' defense led the way, pressuring the Chiefs' star quarterback Patrick Mahomes all evening and forcing him to make several uncharacteristic mistakes and turnovers. By contrast, the Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was poised and had a terrific game, even scoring his team's first touchdown. The Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni received a traditional Gatorade bath from his players during the final moments of the game.
