On Nov. 15, the Ticketmaster website crashed from the flood of Taylor Swift fans scrambling for presale tickets to her upcoming 2023 "Eras Tour" in the U.S. The company's customer support Twitter account posted a message at 1:05 p.m. ET, reporting difficulties with "historically unprecedented demand, with millions showing up to buy tickets for the TaylorSwiftTix Presale." Swift has set 52 dates for her tour, which could bust her own record for gross ticket sales in North America. Tickets were priced from $49 up to $449, with VIP packages starting at $199 and going up to $899. The Eras Tour is Swift's first since the 2018 Reputation stadium tour, while she canceled her Lover Fest tour last year due to the COVID pandemic.
