The European leg of Taylor Swift’s record-breaking “The Eras Tour” recently wrapped, culminating with five sold-out performances at London’s Wembley Stadium. On Wednesday, August 21, the singer shared a statement on social media, discussing the terror plot that forced the cancellation of her three shows in Vienna. She wrote: "Having our Vienna shows cancelled was devastating. The reason for the cancellations filled me with a new sense of fear, and a tremendous amount of guilt because so many people had planned on coming to those shows. But I was also so grateful to the authorities because thanks to them, we were grieving concerts and not lives." Wembley bolstered its security procedures following Vienna, banning pre-show camping and barring those without tickets from gathering near the venue. Swift said she opted not to comment on the alleged terror plot until the London shows were complete to avoid provoking "those who would want to harm the fans who come to my shows." The "Eras" tour returns Oct. 20 for one more run of shows in the United States and Canada, beginning in Miami Gardens, Florida.
