Stevie Wonder’s "Sing Your Song! As We Fix Our Nation’s Broken Heart" tour was announced last month and staged its first concert at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh on Oct. 8. According to a media release, the legendary singer hopes the tour will serve as a call to "joy over anger, kindness over recrimination, peace over war." The tour is produced by Wonder Productions and promoted by AEG Presents and Free Lunch, the creative agency behind Kendrick Lamar's Juneteenth concert in Inglewood, California. The second show was at a sold-out Madison Square Garden in Manhattan. Instead of singling out specific politicians or other officials, Wonder has so far focused his two-and-a-half-hour, 28-song set on moving forward together. Among the songs he performs at each stop are his newest tune, "Can We Fix Our Nation’s Broken Heart," along with such classics as "Sir Duke" and "Superstition."
