Spotify Wrapped’s personalized end-of-year user streaming data launched last week, bringing a huge wave of social media posts from users revealing their favorite listens of this past year. In 2024, Spotify took the wraps off a feature called "music evolution," which enables people to examine their changing preferences over the year. Similar to Spotify's "daylist," it is designed to give users personalized, niche music profiles to describe their taste during such "phases." In addition, the technology lets users see what their longest listening streaks are for their top artists.
