Sodexo Live! spent the last year reinventing its model for attracting, retaining and developing its workforce, prioritizing diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). The company's People Ambition Employer Value Proposition especially focuses on the advancement of women and minorities in its current and future workforce, with deeper training and mentor opportunities, and more mental health resources. “The People Ambition proactively addresses our resolve to be employee-first while engaging team members to build fulfilling lifelong careers here,” said Sodexo Live! North America's Tracey Jenkins. “Working for us is truly becoming part of a global organization — from Super Bowls to the Hollywood Bowl to the Eiffel Tower, and even the upcoming Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, it's truly a world of possibilities here. We are hiring.” Company leaders identified four central supports for the Employer Value Proposition: the Belong pillar guarantees a sense of community and purpose based on family and teamwork; the Act pillar values DEI as a core performance driver; the Thrive pillar advances opportunities for personal and career growth and for internal success; and the Be Live pillar dovetails with Sodexo Live!'s history and experience in the live event industry. New DEI programs the company is implementing include She Leads, a global mentorship program for women, and the mandatory Diversity Learning Lab program for upper-level management. Also scheduled for implementation in the next 12 to 18 months is Inspirus Connects, an engagement program that will allow employees at all levels of the organization to share feedback anonymously around the clock.
