The price of secondary market-sold tickets for the World Series has declined by more than 25 percent since 2016, according to TicketIQ. This year's World Series marks the second time the Red Sox have hosted the Dodgers in Boston, and the first time they have played them at Fenway Park. The average Red Sox ticket price this season is higher than the Dodgers, but the most affordable ticket to get into Dodger Stadium is nearly twice as costly as the less expensive ticket at Fenway, which is $350 for Game 1. This is due to fewer "cheap" seats like Bleachers at Fenway being available and driving up the average. The costliest ticket for the series is for Game 7, which will, if needed, take place on Halloween night, and is averaging $2,658. Game 6, at $2,072, is the next priciest, while the other five games have current average asking prices of $1,363 or lower. TicketIQ has a low price guarantee on every World Series game.
