Ticket Insurance and Protection pioneers TicketPlan have announced a new partnership with prestigious Cardiff venue, St David’s Hall.
Since opening in 1982, many millions of concert-goers have flocked to the National Concert Hall and Conference Centre of Wales to experience the venue’s awe-inspiring sound and diverse programme.
With an overall capacity of 2,000, the Hall hosts illustrious events like BBC Cardiff Singer of the World, the International Concert Series, the Welsh Proms and the British Academy Cymru Awards to name just a few. Well over 300 shows are staged each year with audiences in excess of 250,000 including world renowned classical music, ballets, opera and countless high-profile comedians.
In 2016, media website Business Insider UK ranked St David’s Hall ninth in the Top 10 world’s best sounding concert halls – ahead of the Royal Albert Hall, Sydney Opera House and other famous venues.
