Aloha Stadium in Hawaii will hold a final "Aloha" concert event to celebrate its 47 years of hosting live events before closing down to make way for a new entertainment district scheduled for completion in 2029. The final celebration lineup will include such Aloha State favorites as Henry Kapono & Friends, the Makaha Sons and the Hawaiian Style Band. Aloha Stadium has been Hawaii's biggest outdoor arena at the heart of Oahu for nearly five decades. The venue has hosted everything from University of Hawaii football games to the NFL Pro Bowl to concerts by major stars, including Michael Jackson and Bruno Mars. Additionally, the stadium has been a community fairground for events like the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet & Marketplace and the 50th State Fair.
