United Kingdom ticketing platform Tickets for Good has raised £3.9 million in funding to support its international expansion. The investment came from NPIF II – Mercia Equity Finance, which is managed by Mercia Ventures as part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II. Founded by Steve Rimmer and the late Neville Mosey, Tickets for Good distributes surplus tickets to live events for teachers, charity staffers, people receiving cost of living support and others. The tickets are provided by event partners. It works out for all sides. Members can sign up for free and pay a nominal transaction fee for each admission, while venues and event organizers get to fill otherwise unused capacity. Tickets for Good now boasts nearly 750,000 verified members worldwide and has distributed over 1.25 million tickets since its inception. Pop star Robbie Williams is an ambassador for the company, which expanded into the United States in 2023.
