The Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado, has teamed with social change platform Propeller in a two-year arrangement that Propeller CEO Brandon Deroche calls "the first partnership of its kind for us with a venue." The collaboration gives Propeller an established presence at Red Rocks, including a concourse booth and signage, while artists will be able to work with the company and the venue to engineer unique incentives around the causes they value. The partners will also work with talent to offer all-inclusive travel packages focused on given shows at Red Rocks. The first such package is in conjunction with Icelandic blues-rockers KALEO, who will play Red Rocks on May 16, and features premium tickets, a signed Gibson guitar, an autographed Red Rocks show poster, roundtrip travel and high-end lodgings. "Red Rocks provides the platform, Propeller provides the activation and then the artist supplies the emotion," said Brian Kitts, Red Rocks' director of marketing and communications. Propeller allows artists to choose the causes they want to promote, and Deroche said the scale of activations at the venue is also determined by the performers. "We're certainly looking at this on the venue level of partnerships for us as how we can do this in other places in the country," he noted.
