President Biden Pleads With Entertainment Industry to Implement COVID-19 Rules

President Joe Biden entreated the entertainment industry to impose stricter coronavirus safety measures in a public address on Sept. 9. "Those of you running large entertainment venues, sports arenas, concert venues, and movie theaters, please require folks to get vaccinated or show a negative test as a condition of entry," he pleaded. The White House website indicates that large outdoor stadiums are not on the list of venues being requested to do this. Biden's move comes as live event companies like AEG and Live Nation have already implemented similar requirements.
