Integrated ticketing solutions provider Patron Technology has merged with Ticketbooth, owner of the Token cashless radio-frequency identification (RFID) platform and Audiencetools, an automated social media marketing solution. "We are putting together an integrated suite of solutions for live event promoters," said Patron Technology CEO Marc Jenkins. "Our vision is to bring integrated solutions to the market." Jenkins expects Ticketbooth's assets to sustain Patron's success. "We already have the Token RFID capabilities integrated into ShowClix, and Audiencetools will help our media marketing tremendously," he noted. "One of the most critical parts of the commerce side is the cashless RFID. We also will expand our presence significantly outside North America." Jenkins added that Patron hopes to offer clients leading technology in the commerce, engagement, and operations categories, combined to "gather a tremendous amount of fan and user data that can drive business intelligence and fan segmentation and fair marketing."
