The organizers of the Paris 2024 Olympics announced that the process to buy tickets begins on Dec. 1, when fans will be able to register for a draw that will run until Jan. 31. Ten million tickets will become available exclusively for online purchase, and will not be sold via ticket resellers. In order to make the Olympics "accessible and affordable," the organizers said the first million tickets drawn will be sold at 24 euros, while half the tickets will cost less than 50 euros. They also said the organization will allow fans for the first time to choose the competitions included in their "Make Your Games" packs, "to curate their own ideal Olympic experience" and to avoid no-shows. Each account will be permitted to purchase up to 30 tickets, while the organizing committee also declared that it will fund the purchase of 100,000 tickets for minority groups. The organization will also offer more than 3 million tickets for the Paralympic Games, which will go on sale in fall 2023.
