After Oasis scrapped their use of Ticketmaster’s dynamic pricing for the group's 2025 North American tour, a different controversy has since broken out around those concerts. The National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) is investigating claims that "thousands of fake Oasis tickets" are being sold on secondary platforms – including before the primary on-sale began on Oct. 4. NIVA has petitioned the leaders of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation to also look into the matter, alleging that at least 9,000 tickets are being listed on such resale sites as StubHub and Vivid Seats. NIVA Executive Director Stephen Parker wrote: "We know these tickets are fake because not a single ticket has been sold yet for the 2025 Oasis U.S. tour dates."
