Nuweb Group has launched highly secure dynamic tickets as it continues to offer ticketing platforms a way to manage the secondary market.
The software provider today unveiled its next-generation digital tickets, featuring barcodes that automatically refresh every 30 seconds.
Ethan Dean, Head of Marketing at Nuweb Group said “The introduction of dynamic barcodes allows us to offer ticketing platforms a truly secure resale environment while ensuring fans can trust the authenticity of the tickets they purchase.”
This comes after Nuweb Group recently announced the launch of its own resale product combining primary tickets and secondary market together.
The company, which provides the underlying infrastructure for ticketing platforms, said the functionality will eliminate secondary market fraud entirely.
According to Nuweb Group, the system is designed to ensure that tickets cannot be copied, resold outside authorised channels, or circulated on unofficial marketplaces.
“Once a ticket is transferred outside the primary platform, you introduce opportunities for fraud and distrust,” said Anthony Escott-Lawrence, Head of Product at Nuweb Group.
“Dynamic barcodes can only be issued and validated by the original ticketing provider, which means the platform maintains control and accountability throughout the process.”
By keeping tickets linked to the issuing platform, the company says organisers and ticketing partners are better positioned to enforce resale rules, protect fans from fraudulent listings, and maintain visibility over how tickets move through the market.
With ticket fraud and resale controversies continuing to dominate headlines across the live events industry, Nuweb Group says its goal is to give ticketing platforms the infrastructure needed to bring secondary markets back under the control of official channels.
