Primavera Sound has released its annual economic report on the impact the Spanish mega fest had on the city of Barcelona, where it takes place at the Parc del Fòrum. This summer, from June 5-7, the 23rd edition of Primavera Sound was staged with a lineup led by headliners Chappell Roan, Charli xcx and Sabrina Carpenter. The three-day festival also featured LCD Soundsystem, HAIM, Clairo and more. Another highlight was Cat Power continuing her recreation of Bob Dylan's 1966 United Kingdom tour. The festival's promoters counted approximately 293,000 attendees, with at least 71,000 showing up on each of the three main festival days. Primavera Sound 2025 closed with an economic impact of €339.5 million (US$397.7 million). Of that total, nearly €195 million (US $228 million) was directly generated by the event. Additionally, the final report determined that Primavera Sound 2025 generated 8,666 jobs and resulted in a 0.11% increase in the total GDP of Barcelona.
