This month, Metallica is releasing a live concert through Apple Vision Pro that gets fans about as close to the heavy metal band as possible. The immersive show takes high-tech footage Apple had compiled during the band's Mexico City stop last year, placing viewers everywhere from in the audience to above the stage to right behind drummer Lars Ulrich as he performs. "What's so good about this is that you can really feel the live music, and you can feel the interaction between the fans and the band," Metallica bass player Robert Trujillo remarks. "It's like you can almost touch it." This is just the latest in several music experiences the technology giant has developed for its Vision Pro line, having also made concert experiences with Alicia Keys, Raye and The Weeknd. Metallica's concert is about 25 minutes long and takes fans through three of their most well-known songs: "Whiplash," "One" and "Enter Sandman."
