BIRMINGHAM, West Midlands – Made Media has been honoured with a King’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade.
Made Media is one of 197 organisations nationally to be recognised with a prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise, as announced 6 May, 2025. The Awards celebrate the success of exciting and innovative businesses which are leading the way with pioneering products or services and promoting international trade. Made Media is recognised for creating cutting-edge digital products for arts and culture organisations throughout the English-speaking world.
“From small beginnings in Birmingham over two decades ago to partnering with the world’s leading arts and cultural organisations today, this King’s Award for Enterprise feels like extraordinary validation,” said Made Media CEO James Baggaley. “It honours not just our global expansion, but the brilliant team who’ve made it possible: talented people who create products to enable the business of arts and culture. This recognition energises us to push boundaries further, connecting even more audiences with transformative cultural experiences worldwide.”
James adds: “As we say here, we’re chuffed.”
Made Media counts the Royal Albert Hall, Glyndebourne Opera, Lincoln Center, the Sydney Opera House, and the New York City Ballet among their clients, in addition to other leading cultural brands. The agency has strategically navigated the economic uncertainty in the arts and culture sector during the pandemic and post-pandemic recovery periods and is now in the midst of a multi-year growth stage.
About the King’s Awards for Enterprise
The King’s Awards for Enterprise, previously known as the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, were renamed in 2023 to reflect His Majesty The King’s desire to continue the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II’s by recognising outstanding UK business. The Award programme, now in its 59th year, is the most prestigious business award in the country, with successful businesses able to use the esteemed King’s Awards Emblem for the next five years.
