The Lovers & Friends festival was called off on May 3 just one day prior to the Las Vegas show due to the threat of dangerous and sustained winds. The star-heavy lineup was to feature some of the biggest artists in R&B, pop and hip-hop — everyone from Janet Jackson and Alicia Keys to Mary J. Blige, and Snoop Dogg. Other performers who were scheduled to take the stage at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds included Gwen Stefani, the Backstreet Boys, Nas, Usher, Ciara, Nelly, Ja Rule, and more. An official announcement posted on the festival's website states: "Ticket holders who purchased their tickets directly through Front Gate Tickets will receive a refund within 30 days to the original form of payment."
