The O2 London recently joined with the arena's F&B partner Levy UK & Ireland to announce the introduction of self-serve bars over the course of this year. The first of these bars will open this summer and be powered by Amazon’s AI-based self-checkout technology. Customers tap in with contactless payment, grab their selected beverages and snacks, and exit without the need for a traditional checkout. The O2 has additional self-serve bars in the works, with a second location poised to open by the end of the year. These new bars are in addition to the various self-pour drink stations and self-order kiosks already available throughout the venue.
