Live Nation easily topped its revenue record in the third quarter, recording $8.2 billion in earnings versus the previous mark of $6.2 billion in 2022's July-through-September period. Live Nation Entertainment President and CEO Michael Rapino issued a statement that read: "With the majority of opportunity still untapped from Milan to Bogotá to Tokyo and beyond, we expect the industry will continue growing in 2024 and for years to come." Live Nation posted strong year-over-year gains in all sectors, with concert revenue being the main driver. Each year's third quarter has historically been the company's strongest because of it coinciding with the summer touring and festival season. This year was no different, with concert revenues nearing $7 billion and impressive growth across all venue types, price points, and markets. Year to date, over 140 million tickets have been sold for Live Nation events, topping even the full-year tally of 121 million from 2022.
