Live Nation Entertainment (02/27/25)
Live Nation has taken on a 20-year, long-term lease to operate Helsinki’s landmark arena, Helsinki Halli, a move that puts the venue back on the international touring map. Helsinki Halli opened in 1997 and boasts a capacity of up to 15,900 seats. The arena has been largely closed since 2020, leaving the Finnish touring market without a premier live entertainment space. Live Nation’s agreement to Helsinki Halli follows its recent acquisition by a consortium led by Finnish investor Heikki Viitikko and Trevian Asset Management Oy. Tom Lynch, Live Nation President Venues EMEA, comments, "We’re proud to play a part in bringing the arena back to life. We can’t wait to get artists back on its stage, and fans back through the doors again."
