Live Nation has set another revenue record, recording $3.8 billion in first-quarter earnings to top the previous mark of $3.1 billion registered during the same period a year earlier. Leading indicators now point to a strong 2024 for the company. On the bottom line, though, Live Nation posted an operating loss of $37 million from January through March versus the $142 million in operating income reported in 2023's first quarter. The loss is attributable to a $97 million reduction “comprised of accrual related to Astroworld litigation," writes the article's author.
