Live music played a major role at this past weekend's 96th Academy Awards ceremony in Hollywood. One of the evening's highlights was a pink-suited Ryan Gosling performing the Oscar-nominated "I'm Just Ken" alongside Mark Ronson, Slash, and dancers that included his “Barbie” co-stars. Taking the Oscar for Best Original Song, though, was Billie Eilish and her brother, Finneas O'Connell, for another “Barbie” song nominated, “What Was I Made For?” The win for the 22-year-old Eilish was a historic one as she became the youngest person to have two Oscars (her other one being for 2022's "No Time to Die"). Other standout live performances included Jon Batiste, who performed the Oscar-nominated ballad "It Never Went Away;" Becky G, who sang "The Fire Inside" from the film “Flamin' Hot;" and Scott Geroge and the Osage Singers, who were honored with a standing ovation following their performance of Best Original Song nominee “Wahzhazhe (A Song For My People)."
