Legends has closed its $2.325 billion acquisition of ASM Global, a deal first reported over a year ago that was then frozen by a U.S. Department of Justice anti-competition review. The deal was allowed to proceed after Legends agreed to pay a $3.5 million fine for violating antitrust regulations during the acquisition process. The two companies’ combination will create a client roster including Allegiant Stadium, Caesars Superdome, and the Target Center from the ASM Global side, and the L.A. Rams and Chargers (and SoFi Stadium), New York City FC, and the Denver Nuggets and Avalanche (and Ball Arena) from the Legends' side. The combined company will have approximately 10,000 full-time employees and significantly more part-time staffers in the venues themselves.
