Eight years to the day the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) and National Basketball Association (NBA) Board of Governors announced the San Antonio Stars would be relocating to Las Vegas, the Aces celebrated their third championship in four years with a parade down the famed Vegas Strip this past Friday evening. Five double-deck buses motored from Tropicana Boulevard down Las Vegas Boulevard, the last of which carried the Aces. The players threw confetti and streamers to the thousands of fans who lined the parade route and began arriving four hours before the parade's start. The Aces swept the Phoenix Mercury in the WNBA Finals.
