INTIX Raises $27,400 for COVID-19 Member Relief Fund … and Donations Are Still Coming In!
Editor's Note: As of Monday, April 27, INTIX has raised USD$32,166 in donations and pledges for the INTIX Member COVID-19 Relief Fund.
If there is one thing that’s apparent about INTIX, it’s that we are so much more than just an association. In the best of times, we celebrate and help each other all year long. We’re never more than a phone call, email or social media message away from anyone who is a member, partner or supporter of INTIX. And in January, we run across hotel hallways and exhibition floors at our annual conference to warmly hug the ticketing friends we haven’t seen in a year.
In difficult times, INTIX members support each other even more. And that’s exactly what we are doing now with our INTIX Member COVID-19 Relief Fund.
So far, as of the time of writing this story, we’ve come together as a community to raise a total of USD$27,400 in donations and pledges. INTIX is so incredibly thankful, because these gifts will allow the organization to provide a one-time USD$100 assistance award to 274 members.
That’s 274 times you’ve helped someone buy groceries, fill a prescription, celebrate a child’s birthday or pay a bill. Your gifts and contributions will make a direct impact with every penny raised going to award assistance!
This number will continue to increase as gifts are generously matched by some of our members; companies and organizations reach out to give; and everyone shares our fundraising call far and wide.
In the meantime, we are absolutely heartened by the comments that supporters are including with their donations. Here are just a few:

As ticketing industry professionals, we know the importance of “the list” at a live event. Many of us have likely been on that coveted guest or VIP list, too, thanks to the help of a ticketing industry peer. The fund has helped us to create two new VIP lists: We gratefully thank the list of generous folks who have stepped up to contribute to the fund — even those that may be unemployed — and the even more important VIP list of those who we will give help to! You are all heroes.
Yet the list of INTIX Member COVID-19 Relief Fund Donors is the most important list in our organization’s history.
If you can give and join this amazing list of donors, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Every dollar counts and will help us to help each other in this unprecedented time of need. One-time and recurring gifts can be made directly via the INTIX website.
INTIX is scheduling to open applications for members this week. The process will require only some basic information so that INTIX can process awards and track the granted funds. There will be no judgement on need, and no proof of need will be required. Requests will be processed in order of receipt.
