Missouri native Chappell Roan recently announced "Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things," a series of concerts coming this fall. First up, the Grammy Award-winning singer will perform Friday, Oct. 3, and Saturday, Oct. 4, at Museum and Memorial Park in Kansas City, Missouri. Fans were able to register to purchase tickets between July 24 and July 27 on the AXS ticket site. The public then had to wait nearly two weeks before getting the chance to actually purchase their tickets, as Roan is using a ticketing process called Fair AXS to make sure tickets end up in the hands of her fans. She said on social media on July 24 that the delay from registration to purchase is so she and her team can prevent bots and scalpers from getting tickets. "AXS will take the next week to try and remove bot or scalper emails and randomly select only real people who will be given access to purchase tickets," she wrote. Random registered users were picked between Tuesday, Aug. 5, and Thursday, Aug. 7, for a chance to buy up to four tickets, according to AXS. Those selected received a private ticket purchase link via email. Tickets were sold on a first-come, first-served basis to fans who received the link.
