Secondary market ticket prices for the Dec. 15 game between the Buffalo Bills and the Pittsburgh Steelers rose significantly thanks to Bills fans, with TickPick estimating the average list price was $269.20, a nearly 19% gain from the average price at the start of the season. The National Football League (NFL) average for the past week's roster of games was $160.67. "I'm not sure anyone expected this," noted TickPick marketing strategist Kyle Zorn. The game was the Bills' first appearance since 2007 on the NFL's showcase game. The Bills' victory means the team has a wild card slot in the NFL playoffs in January.
