The Aug. 16 inauguration of the Carolina Panthers' new mobile ticket policy at Bank of America stadium in Charlotte, N.C., was frustrating for some fans, while others found it positive. The all-digital ticket policy requires ticketholders to first download the Panthers or Ticketmaster App, then login to access the tickets. Workers at mobile help stations said tickets also are accessible via a web browser, although that part of the system was out of commission on Aug. 16. Problems for scanning at the gate also caused lines to swell unusually. "I know a lot of people will complain about ... the connection speed," said attendee Sam Rosentreter. Ticket purchases, sales and transfers are online only. The team said digital codes are in constant motion, making it harder to sell counterfeit tickets.
