The Grand Ole Opry made its inaugural broadcast with a single fiddle tune performed by Uncle Jimmy Thompson on Nov. 28, 1925. In the nearly 100 years since, the Opry has broadcast more than 15,000 shows while attracting millions of fans. To celebrate the milestone anniversary of that first broadcast, two star-studded Opry member shows have been planned for Nov. 28 in Nashville at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. The lineup will include Trace Adkins, The Gatlin Brothers, Vince Gill, Kathy Mattea, Scotty McCreery, Riders In The Sky, Ricky Skaggs, Marty Stuart, Pam Tillis, The Whites and more to be announced soon.
