On 18th March 2020 Spektrix launched the Ticket Converter Tool, which is now available for free to all non-profit cultural organisations in the UK, Ireland, USA and Canada, regardless of the ticketing system they use.
The cultural sector is facing an unprecedented challenge with the spread of Covid-19, with event cancellation on an unprecedented scale. We feel strongly that we should all work together for the good of the sector, and so have made this tool free to use for all non-profit event organisers.
The tool is designed to encourage audiences to donate, or accept refunds as credit, with a single email click.
DETAILS
The Ticket Converter Tool is a new feature built in response to Covid-19 and its impact on the sector. It’s still in beta, but after successful testing with Spektrix clients, Spektrix teams are confident that it can be useful for other organisations using any bulk email service. The tool is designed to help cultural organisations encourage customers to convert some or all of their ticket refunds into either donations or account credit. It works by mapping a report from their CRM system to their email provider - no payment is taken using the tool, and it does not collect customers’ personal data.
The tool is completely free to use, and nobody at Spektrix will see any data. The Spektrix team will continue to gather feedback, update and improve the tool iteratively. A few hours into its use, one organisation took over 250 donations in lieu of refunds.
