Former Ticketmaster CEO Nathan Hubbard's Rival ticketing firm will take on its first client via a partnership with Kroenke Sports & Entertainment. With the deal, Kroenke has terminated its agreement with AEG's AXS Tickets, who through their merger with Veritix had owned the ticketing contract that powered Altitude Tickets, Kroenke's in-house ticketing system for the Denver Nuggets, the National Hockey League's Colorado Avalanche, and Major League Soccer's Colorado Rapids. AXS Tickets assumed control of Altitude when Kroenke's Ticket Horse subsidiary struck a deal with Flash Seats, the digital ticketing brand of Veritix. Not included in the Rival-Kroenke deal are the Rams or the venues within the $4 billion stadium development in Inglewood. Hubbard announced the establishment of Rival last May, announcing that it would be the “platform for the most coveted live events on the planet,” with support from unnamed “sports teams, venue owners across the globe, and leaders from the tech industry's highest-profile companies.”
