Everfest Launches Festival Ticket Rewards Program; Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits on Board

Everfest has launched a ticket rewards program that lets festival-goers purchase tickets no matter what event, promoter or ticketing company they patronize. Everfest CEO Jay Manickam says fans "have events they love, but they buy the tickets from whichever product that event happens to use. If those events are all in one place, that's the only way they can earn rewards they can use anywhere — their festival life finally has a home." Everfest's Rewards pilot program, launched in partnership with C3 Presents, include such events as the Austin City Limits Music Festival and Lollapalooza. The partners are striving to add major independent festivals such as Chicago's North Coast festival and KAABOO Del Mar in Southern California. Fans buying via Everfest Ticket Rewards can earn points redeemable for incentives like VIP upgrades, free general admission or merchandise, and these perks can be redeemed at the time of purchase or saved for future purchases. None of the tickets bought through the program come from secondary market resales.
