The 82nd annual Golden Globe Awards, hosted by Nikki Glaser, were held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif., this past Sunday evening. The biggest winner on the motion picture side was "Emilia Pérez," which took home four awards: Best Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy; Best Motion Picture – Non-English Language; Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture (Zoe Saldaña); and Best Original Song for "El Mal," co-written by Clément Ducol, Camille and Jacques Audiard. "Shogun" ended up being the biggest winner on the TV side, tallying four awards: Best Television Series – Drama, along with acting awards for Anna Sawai, Hiroyuki Sanada and Tadanobu Asano. Also notable, "Wicked" won the Golden Globe for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement one year after "Barbie" was honored in the category's inaugural year.
