CTS Eventim announced a multiyear branding partnership with Telefónica Deutschland and its core O2 brand, which will offer O2 customers in Germany incentives like exclusive presales, free streaming and brand experiences at CTS Eventim events. O2 will employ Eventim Brand Connect's online coverage and media channels through social media, newsletters, display ads, banner advertising and marketing and targeting tools to deliver O2 brand messages to Eventim customers. "We have gained a strong partner in CTS Eventim, one who pursues the same philosophy as ourselves, namely to do our best for the best," said Telefónica Deutschland's Wolfgang Metze. "For O2, these are the customers, for CTS Eventim the concertgoers, and our aim is to draw their attention to our brand by offering fantastic moments." CTS Eventim CEO Klaus-Peter Schulenberg declared that the partnership is meant to be a long-term alliance, and "a prime example of how we can create great products and unique value for our partners and customers with our combination of many years' experience in the live events business and our ticketing operations." CTS Eventim's Frithjof Pils added that the agreement "is probably the biggest branding partnership in the German live entertainment industry. It will generate trailblazing [business-to-business and business-to-consumer] product innovations, while also highlighting the value that Eventim's assets can create for major brands."
