Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles has completed the first phase of its upgrade, according to venue president Lee Zeidman. New amenities inside the venue include improvements to the main concourse, where guests will find new local food offerings like Dirt Dog concession stands and the Impact Sports Bar & Grill for Kings and Lakers season ticket-holders. Danielle Snyder, senior vice president of arena services at Crypto.com, said one of the main goals was to implement more technology within the building, and the arena is the first National Basketball Association venue to employ grab-and-go concessions with Amazon's Just Walk Out technology. The stadium also has two new 21-foot by 65-foot-wide wall video displays, and three levels of ribbon boards comprising over 3,000 linear feet of display screen that can be programmed for each team or concert event. VIP space upgrades include the exclusive Chairman's Club, which is available to ice or court side ticket-holders during games and VIP guests during concerts. Zeidman said the second-phase upgrade will involve gutting and updating the main concourse, and adding special suites and a new sound system.
