The Chicago Fire said their new stadium at The 78 will be named McDonald's Park, with the locally based fast-food giant officially introduced as the venue's naming rights partner. The privately funded venue is the first new major stadium development in the city in decades, and the first time McDonald's has a naming rights partnership with a major professional sports stadium in the United States. McDonald's Park is expected to seat more than 22,000 people and open by 2028 ahead of that year's MLS season.
