Santiago, May 10, 2022: Multinational ticketing software company, AudienceView, has opened their first virtual office in Santiago, with plans to hire 40 data engineers this year. The Toronto-based company has been an industry leader and innovator for over 20 years and decided on Chile for their latest expansion.
“When deciding where to go next, we considered many factors,” explains Nancy Galaski, VP of People & Internal Systems, “it was important to us to identify a location with similar cultural values. We are people-first at AudienceView, and value quality of life, diversity, equity and inclusion, and transparency.”
Those factors were also a driving force behind the company’s decision to sponsor the International Women’s Forum (IWF) Cornerstone Conference, taking place in Santiago May 17-19. The conference provides an opportunity for global decision-makers to convene and will provide an opportunity for Galaski and the team to further their commitment to champion equality for women in leadership positions.
“In order to grow as an organization, we need not only diversity in people but in ideas, in ways of problem-solving. We look forward to finding more ways to participate in local events and are excited to learn from our Chilean team as we continue to grow and become global thought-leaders.”
